The Highwaymen (not to be confused with the hit-making ’60s folk group) were a country supergroup comprising three pioneers of the “outlaw country” style, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson. They recorded between 1985 and 1985, and this takes set includes the best of that work, including the No. 1 country hit “The Highwaymen” and their other notable hits “Silver Stallion” and “Desperados Waiting for a Train”
